Dear Reader
From the feeble clues below, can you guess my three favourite authors?
Known for her subtle wit and one of the best opening lines.
He invented the butler of all butlers, and his prose makes you 🤣.
The Queen 👑 of crime.
Unfortunately, they are all deceased. But that’s not come as a shocking blow; I’ve been dealing with it for some time.
But it’s that time of year when we’re forced to challenge our habits. And I'd much rather spread my reading wings and find new undead authors than examine my caffeine and chocolate habits.
Have you any recommendations? I’m open to all suggestions but would prefer crime fiction – and nothing too gory.
Last year I made a bit of an effort and discovered Robert Galbraith. I bought the series in a deal but have read only the first two. I loved them so much, I’m saving the rest for a reading emergency. (You never know when that might be.)
P.S. My favourite authors are: Jane Austen, P.G. Wodehouse, Agatha Christie. Did you guess?
P.P.S. I’m sharing this link of new authors and am hoping to strike lucky.
Finally, before you go, The Murder Before Merangs is now available to buy on Amazon. Anyone reading this can still get a free copy.
It would be the best ever start to my year if you could leave a review. Happy New Year and Happy Reading. 😊
